The Physiology & Biochemistry Laboratory at Narayanshree Homoeopathic Medical College (NSHMC) is designed to provide students with practical exposure to the scientific principles underlying the functions of the human body. The laboratory is equipped with modern instruments, anatomical charts, models, microscopes, and biochemical testing apparatus, enabling learners to connect theoretical knowledge with experimental observation.
In the Physiology section, students perform experiments related to blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, reflexes, and sensory responses, gaining firsthand experience in understanding how various organ systems maintain homeostasis. The Biochemistry section introduces students to essential analytical techniques, including estimation of biomolecules, enzyme assays, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological samples.
