A seminar on “Organ Donation & Transplant” was organized by the Department of Organon of Medicine and Practice of Medicine at Narayan Shree Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal. The program was conducted as part of the nationwide awareness campaign “Angdaan-Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyaan” launched by NCH, New Delhi and was held for BHMS I/II/III/IV Prof. students, Interns, and Faculty members. Dr. Sourabh Sharma, Manager, ORGAN INDIA, New Delhi was invited to conduct the awareness session. The seminar highlighted the importance of organ donation, especially in reference to the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address in the 131st episode of Mann ki Baat, where he emphasized its transformative impact on the lives of recipients and their families. The event aimed to create awareness about the need, process, and ethical aspects of organ donation and transplantation, and to encourage young Homoeopathic Doctors to take part in spreading this message. The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. R. S. Agrawal, Principal/Hospital Superintendent, reflecting the college’s commitment to social responsibility and public health education.
